Caught in distraught, he's forced to reevalu-

ate the path that he set out on to be

Great, and receive a name, fame triumphantly.


The umpire of the game is calling him "safe,"

Saying he just ducked in under the tag

At the base. Face the facts, the call’s been made.

Even those that call you out would have to

Agree with the Cadillacs that arrive at the scene,

To break some backs and crack some knee--

caps for the past debts he owes. He was supposed

To throw the game, but instead his limp proves


That he is a champion.
